  • Hello, I am wondering about the training process. I mean is the company training to certify each contractor with mocks at the end of training? Why aren’t there any openings showing on the site? I’ve just looked on the site and saw none.

Working Solutions is not a scam, however, they are the most unprofessional outfit of call centers I have ever encountered. Their motto while “training” you to become an “employee” (actually they force you to go into “business” for yourself as an “Independent Contactor” because they refuse to pay any taxes and do not want to be responsible for any insurance) is “FAKE IT ‘TILL YOU MAKE IT.” If you are a customer service professional with telephone sales skills – stay far far away. They promise the world and deliver nothing.

    • Thanks for chiming in. It’s always very valuable to hear others experience.

There are a number of contact center companies that have an independent contractor model. Working Solutions hires experienced, educated professionals who are looking for virtual agent opportunities. They have been around since 1996 and are one of the original pioneers of the home agent model. They have a robust agent community. Many of their agents have been with them since the beginning of the company. They treat their agents fairly and are very passionate about what they do. They do only hire when they have projects and right now they have quite a few.
